132 Learners Participate in Literacy Assessment in Djigou¨ra

Kenedougou: The Basic Education District (CEB) of Djigou¨ra officially launched the basic literacy assessment tests for learners in several centers in the area this Tuesday.

According to Burkina Information Agency, four centers are hosting this evaluation session in the CEB of Djigou¨ra. In response to the call for candidates, 132 learners answered the call, including 93 women and 39 men, demonstrating the growing enthusiasm of the population for non-formal education and the acquisition of basic skills.

The official launch of the tests was carried out at the Gossiamandara center by the head of the non-formal education office of the CEB of Djigou¨ra, Jean Paul Traore. The first envelope was opened at 8:00 a.m. with the text study test, marking the start of the compositions in a calm and disciplined atmosphere.

Educational officials praised the good conditions for the organization and conduct of the tests, both from a pedagogical and logistical point of view.
