2026 Baccalaureate Exams Begin in L©o with Emphasis on Resilience and Excellence


Sissili: The 2026 Baccalaureate session kicked off in L©o under the banner of resilience and excellence at the L©o Municipal High School. The High Commissioner of Sissili Province, T©wend© Isaac Sia, officially launched the exams, which see 922 candidates participating across four examination boards with the aim of surpassing the previous year’s results.



According to Burkina Information Agency, the initial focus was on examination boards 344 and 345, specifically catering to candidates in the A4-Philosophy series. The High Commissioner, T©wend© Isaac Sia, expressed strong moral support for the candidates, urging them to aim for perfect scores and maintain focus throughout the exams. He emphasized the importance of integrity by advising against distractions and promoting concentration.



The Provincial Director of Secondary, Vocational, and Technical Education, Serge Lawabien To©, echoed this sentiment by dedicating the session to “resilience” and warning against any form of cheating. He stressed the importance of maintaining a flawless baccalaureate session, highlighting the administration’s proactive efforts to boost student morale.



Dr. Parfait Bako, president of jury 345, confirmed that preparations were comprehensive and that all necessary materials had been received, ensuring a smooth process. Both the faculty and administrative teams were reported to be functioning without issues, though vigilance remains a priority.



Among the candidates, a strong sense of determination was evident. Wendlasida Fadila Sawadogo shared her personal strategies for managing stress, while Salomon Zizien reflected on his extensive preparation and encouraged his peers to persevere. Both candidates expressed a commitment to avoiding dishonest practices.



In this year’s session, the province of Sissili has mobilized a total of 922 candidates participating in all series A and D examinations.
