Nanoro:The Nanoro Departmental Polyvalent High School hosted the national colors raising ceremony on Monday for the 3rd edition of the national days of patriotic commitment and citizen participation (JEPPEC). The event was presided over by the Prefect/PDS, Nourou Guiguimd.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the ceremony featured the Prefect/PDS delivering the President's address, which emphasized the importance of promoting Burkinab consumption. The address called for citizens to engage in all stages from production to consumption to ensure the country's sovereignty.

The PDS of Nanoro encouraged the local population to embrace this message, highlighting it as essential for national sovereignty. Additionally, he reminded the audience about the importance of eliminating mosquito breeding grounds to maintain a healthy environment.

He concluded by wishing the education stakeholders of Nanoro a successful start to the 2026-2027 school year.
