Nazinon: The High Commissioner of Zoundw©ogo Province, Julien Ou©draogo, officially launched the regional session of the Junior High School Certificate (BEPC) and technical examinations on Tuesday in Guiba. A total of 9,139 candidates are taking the exams in the Nazinon region. The High Commissioner reiterated the administration’s commitment to guaranteeing public order and the conditions necessary for the smooth running of the examinations. He urged candidates to strictly adhere to the rules of good conduct during the session.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the regional director of Secondary Education, Vocational and Technical Training of Nazinon, Dj©n¨ba Ou©draogo, reported that for the 2026 session, 9,139 candidates are registered for the BEPC, 436 for the BEP, and 358 for the CAP. Ms. Ou©draogo congratulated all education stakeholders for their efforts in preparing for the session. She also noted a contrasting evolution in student numbers, observing a slight decrease in BEPC registrations but a clear increase in candidates for technical education. She called for collective mobilization to ensure the exams proceed smoothly.

At the municipal level, the number of registered candidates for the BEPC is 153, including 47 boys, as per statistics provided by the president of the Guiba jury, Todjim Mar©. He emphasized the need for vigilance among those involved in his jury to prevent incidents that could affect the credibility of the results. The deliberation and proclamation of the first-round results are scheduled for June 9th.
