97 Loroum Candidates Set to Tackle BAC 2026 Exams in Ouahigouya

Ouahigouya: The examination boards for the 2026 Baccalaureate session opened on Tuesday across the nation. Candidates from the Loroum region are participating in their exams in Ouahigouya, the capital of the Yaadga region. A total of 97 candidates have registered for the exams, which include 39 boys and 38 girls.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the candidates are distributed among the examination boards in Ouahigouya and will partake in both the written and oral components of the Baccalaureate exams. Souleymane Ouermi, the provincial director of Secondary Education and Vocational and Technical Training, encouraged the candidates to overcome any obstacles they might face.

Ouermi emphasized that the examination is a culmination of years of hard work, resilience, and discipline, urging students to remain calm and confident in their abilities. He reminded them that the province of Loroum is counting on their rigor to shine.

Ouermi also lauded the commitment of teachers, supervisors, and parents, acknowledging their support and sacrifices throughout the year. He expressed gratitude for their dedication in guiding the students, often under challenging circumstances.

The candidates are undertaking exams in two series, series A and series D, in Titao. Thomas Yampa, the governor of the Yaadga region, also motivated the candidates to approach the exams with honor and dignity.
