In the province of Séno, specifically, 4 km from the toll at the entrance to Dori, unidentified armed individuals attacked two Nigerien trucks which left Ouagadougou for Niger on Sunday, October 31, 2021 shortly before 5 p.m.

According to our sources, armed men who reigned supreme over this part of RN 03 tried in vain to stop the said trucks. The driver of the first was able to force the passage while the second was injured.

He was injured by gunfire from armed men. Despite his injury, the driver was able to drive his truck to the police checkpoint before being evacuated to the Dori Regional Hospital Center (CHR) for treatment.

On the same axis, namely the RN 03 connecting Ouagadougou to Dori via Kaya, we have no news of a customs assistant.

According to corroborating sources, the customs assistant on duty in Seytenga, a stone’s throw from Niger, left Ouagadougou on Sunday October 31 at around 10 a.m. with his personal blue vehicle for his post via Dori.
