Infrastructures of 11-December: an overall execution rate of more than 60%

Ziniaré, A government delegation welcomed, Tuesday, November 2, 2021, the progress of the construction works of the December 11 infrastructure in Boussé and Ziniaré, including the overall execution rate is estimated at over 60%.

 

This is the second official visit by members of the executive to the December 11 construction sites.

The Minister of State, Clément Sawadogo, the Ministers of Infrastructure, Eric Bougouma and Housing, Bénéwendé Stanislas Sankara, made the trip to Boussé and Ziniaré, to ensure the good continuation of the works and their proper execution. .

 

In Boussé, they visited the construction sites of 8 linear kilometers of asphalt road and 10 km of network of gutters.

Their level of progress shows an overall physical execution rate of 66% against a time consumed of 58%.

 

In Ziniaré, the visit concerned the city of living forces, the parade area, roads, place de la ation and the multipurpose room.

According to the companies in charge of the works, the physical execution rates are estimated at 54.25% for the roads, including 100% for the parade area, 74% for the place of the nation and 80% for the multipurpose room.

 

With regard to the contractual deadlines, the Minister of State estimated that the companies committed to the construction of these infrastructures present rates which are generally satisfactory.

“It is in a satisfied delegation that we have seen convincing results with regard to essential infrastructure, which the various companies have achieved.

We sent them encouragement and congratulations, but also gave firm instructions on the shortcomings to be filled, ”indicated the Minister of Territorial Administration, Clément Sawadogo.

 

At the end of the site visit, the first meeting of the national and regional organizing committees took place on December 11, 2021 in the Central Plateau Region.

It concerned the presidents and vice-presidents of the 12 commissions of the national committee and the 14 of the regional organizing committee. They exchanged views on the preparations, the activities scheduled and / or to be scheduled.

 

Minister Sawadogo urged members of both committees to get to work to deliver unheard-of festivities.

 

“I appeal to your sense of fertility to make December 11, 2021 unheard of. You have to be dynamic, creative, ingenious (…). The Central Plateau region is full of enormous cultural riches in particular and this should not be overlooked, ”he stressed.

 

In addition, president of the national organizing committee, Clément Sawadogo invited the commissions to work in synergy for the conduct of the activities assigned to them, taking into account the calendar of major commemoration activities.

To regional actors more precisely, he asked to work for a mobilization of the big days.
