Kaya: The High Commissioner of the province of Sanmatenga presided over the handover ceremony at the head of the Provincial Directorate of Communication, Culture, Arts and Tourism of Sanmatenga on Wednesday, May 28, 2025, in Kaya. Ahmed Ou©draogo is now the provincial director of communication, culture, arts and tourism in Sanmatenga. Appointed on May 2, 2025, by the Council of Ministers, the cultural heritage management advisor was officially installed in his new role by the High Commissioner of the said province, Idrissa Gamsonre.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the new director expressed his gratitude to the authorities who believed in him and is counting on the support of the staff of his structure and of the constituted bodies of the province to succeed in his mission. The regional director in charge of communication for the Centre-North, Oubda/Sorgho Safiata, called on Ahmed Ou©draogo to respect the directives of the Minister of Communication, Culture, Arts and Tourism.

Ahmed Ou©draogo aims to work towards the visibility and clarity of government actions and to ensure the professionalization of the media at the provincial level. Ouss©ni de Adama Ou©draogo, who has been called to other duties, is thus relinquishing his seat after 3 years, 11 months, and 7 days of service in this position. Taking stock of his time in this position, he welcomed the results achieved thanks to the support of stakeholders.
