3rd Edition of Regional Week of Living Together Concludes with Emphasis on Civic Engagement

Ouagadougou: The Minister of Communication, Culture, Arts and Tourism, Pingdwend© Gilbert OUEDRAOGO, participated in the closing ceremony of the 3rd edition of the Regional Week of Living Together in the Centre, held in Ouagadougou. The event, organized under the theme "Civicism and Community Dialogue: The Foundation for Sustainable Social Cohesion in the Central Region," served as a platform for civic expression and engagement, aiming to foster a prosperous and unified future for the region.

According to Burkina Information Agency, Minister OUEDRAOGO highlighted the significance of the initiative as a means to honor the dedication and service of individuals who contributed to the success of the event. He emphasized that living together is not only essential for social cohesion but also a source of innovative solutions to shared challenges. The Minister called on all participants to uphold values such as tolerance, solidarity, and mutual respect to further strengthen the social fabric.

Governor Abdoulaye BASSINGA, the event's promoter, reinforced the importance of the Regional Week in promoting social peace, which he deemed essential to societal well-being. The closing ceremony featured the awarding of prizes and certificates to individuals and municipalities that made significant contributions during the event.
