Loroum: Muslim worshippers in Titao celebrated Eid al-Adha on Friday, June 6, 2025. During their prayers, Muslims urged people to live together.
According to Burkina Information Agency, in Tansaliga, a locality located in sector 1 of Titao, Muslim worshippers prayed under the aegis of Imam Amad© Ou©draogo. Between invocations and sermons, he urged tolerance and living together.
On the esplanade of the Sogodin mosque, sector 6, the faithful gathered around Imam Mamadi Kagon©. At the Bounayiri mosque, in the same area, the prayer took place around Imam Rahaman© Ou©draogo, who then sacrificed a ram to Abraham's deed.
In sector 3 of Titao, the Sunni community gathered around Imam Mamoudou Gamsonr© for the prayer session. In all these places, the imams, after performing the two rakats, preached for the return of peace and social cohesion. They called on people to accept each other, to accept differences, and to live together.
The President of the Special Delegation (PDS), Sidiki Ganam©, at the head of a delegation, participated in the prayer session of Bounayiri while the High Commissioner of the province of Loroum, Djibril Bassol©, communed with the faithful in Tansaliga. They each brought the administration's message of support for Muslims.
With the security efforts that allowed the opening of national road No. 23 and the regular supply of basic necessities to the city, the conditions for the festival have relatively improved.
