Ouagadougou: The High Commissioner of the province of Tuy, Issiaka Segda, inaugurated the written exams for the 2025 baccalaureate session at the municipal high school of Hound©. In total, 1,201 candidates are participating in this year's exams, divided into series D and A, across five juries in Hound©, Founzan, and Koumbia.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the candidates include 638 in series D, comprising 283 girls and 355 boys, and 563 in series A, with 315 girls and 248 boys. The opening ceremony witnessed the presence of key officials including the High Commissioner, the president of the special municipal delegation, Souleymane Dianda, and other provincial education and security officials.

Before unsealing the first exam envelope in room 2 for series D, Issiaka Segda encouraged both students and teachers, emphasizing the importance of honesty and urging candidates to avoid any form of fraud. Segda expressed hope for a complete success rate in the province.

The provincial director of secondary education, Seydou Traor©, also addressed the candidates, encouraging them to remain composed and serious. He highlighted the province's reliance on their performance for favorable results. The first round results are anticipated on July 3, 2025.

The report notes a decrease in candidate numbers compared to 2024, which recorded 1,320 registrations.
