Kampti Community Celebrates Patriotism with Flag-Raising Ceremony

Kampti: The raising of colors, a symbol of patriotism and community commitment took place this Monday at the Kampti territorial gendarmerie brigade, in the presence of administrative authorities, service managers, and the local population. A solemn moment that once again recalled the importance of civic engagement in strengthening the nation.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the Prefect of the Kampti Department and President of the Special Delegation (PDS), Massaba Aim© Soulama, praised the constant mobilization of the commune's vital forces during patriotic activities. He expressed his congratulations to all those who, despite the constraints, always respond to the nation's calls.

Mr. Soulama particularly highlighted the gesture of Mahamadi Sawadogo, head of the Teega Wend© company, who provided material support for the erection of the brigade's new mast. An act that the prefect described as exemplary and which, according to him, should inspire the entire population to become more involved in the construction of community infrastructure, particularly while awaiting the arrival of the Faso Mªbo brigade in Gaoua.

Speaking in turn, Chief Warrant Officer Jo«l Kiema, Commander of the Territorial Brigade of the Kampti Gendarmerie, welcomed the presence of the authorities and the population for this ceremony marking the month of August. He warmly thanked Mr. Sawadogo for his support, stating that the new mast embodies the pride and dignity of the institution.

He also stressed the importance of unity and collaboration in addressing security challenges: "It is through synergy of actions that we will defeat the forces of evil," he stressed.

Mahamadi Sawadogo said he was honored to be able to contribute to the influence of his community. "It is the duty of every Burkinabe to participate in building the nation, each according to their means," he said.

The ceremony, marked by solemnity, was marked by a strong mobilization of department heads and citizens of Kampti, demonstrating their attachment to republican values.
