Ouagadougou: The President of Faso, Head of State, Captain Ibrahim Traore, is meeting with a delegation of nearly 700 Afro-descendants who have arrived primarily from the United States of America, Europe, and the Caribbean.

According to Burkina Information Agency, this gathering marks the second occurrence of its kind, following a similar event in 2024. It serves as a platform for individuals of African descent to reaffirm their dedication to supporting the ongoing struggle for liberation and sovereignty led by President Traore, who is also recognized as the Leader of the Popular Progressive Revolution.

The event is intended as a venue for open discussions and the exchange of visions, with more insights to be shared in future publications. Notably, in 2024, Captain Ibrahim Traore tasked these individuals with the mission of advocating for African unity and the continent's emancipation.
