Poni: A New Administrative Section of the Police Station Opens Its Doors in Gaoua to Bring the Police Closer to the Citizens


Poni: A new administrative section of the Gaoua central police station opened its doors on Friday to better bring its services closer to the citizens. The inauguration ceremony, presided over by the president of the special delegation (PDS) of the Gaoua municipality, Siaka Ouattara, was attended by administrative and military authorities.



According to Burkina Information Agency, the PDS of the commune of Gaoua, Siaka Ouattara, expressed his satisfaction with the opening of this new administrative post. He emphasized that this new position will improve the fluidity of the service, reduce distances, and facilitate access to administrative documents, including legalisations, the establishment of the Burkinabe National Identity Card (CNIB), and other inquiries. Ouattara also praised the patriotism of the donors for the renovation of the building and congratulated all those involved in the realization of this post.



Police Lieutenant Martin Kabore, the new head of the administrative police section, expressed his satisfaction with the opening of the service and invited the public to make use of it. He highlighted the dynamic nature of his team and encouraged his colleagues to be more committed and selfless in order to better serve the population, which remains at the heart of their mission.



Kabore noted that this section aims to bring the administration closer to citizens. “The service offers several services including the preparation of administrative documents, material certification, the receipt and monitoring of administrative investigations, as well as security advice,” he explained.
