Ambassador of Burkina Faso Presents Credentials to Tajikistan President


Dushanbe: The Ambassador of Burkina Faso to the Russian Federation, Aristide R. Ludovic Tapsoba, who is also accredited to several countries in the region, presented his credentials to the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Emomali Rahmon.



According to Burkina Information Agency, the official ceremony took place at the presidential palace in Dushanbe. Following the protocol honors, the Burkinabe diplomat handed over the documents accrediting him as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Burkina Faso to the Republic of Tajikistan to the Tajik head of state.



During the subsequent meeting, President Emomali Rahmon expressed his appreciation to Burkina Faso for appointing an ambassador to his country. He congratulated Mr. Tapsoba on his appointment and expressed hope for a strengthening of bilateral relations during the ambassador’s tenure.



Ambassador Aristide R. Ludovic Tapsoba, in turn, delivered the fraternal greetings and message of friendship from the President of Burkina Faso, Captain Ibrahim Traore, to President Rahmon. He reaffirmed his commitment to work towards enhancing cooperation between the two countries.
