Burkina Faso: The 20th Edition of Digital Week Opens Its Doors in Ouagadougou

Ouagadougou: The 20th edition of Digital Week commenced in the Burkinabe capital featuring the theme "Artificial Intelligence at the Heart of Digital Transformation". The event marks a significant gathering focused on exploring the advancements and impacts of artificial intelligence on digital landscapes.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the official opening ceremony was led by the Burkinabe Head of State, Captain Ibrahim Traore. The event highlights the importance of digital innovation in regional development and is set to feature a variety of discussions, exhibitions, and workshops throughout its duration.

Ghana participates as the guest country of honour, showcasing its advancements and collaborative opportunities in digital technologies. Additionally, the special guest countries, Mali and Niger, contribute to the regional dialogue on harnessing digital transformation for socio-economic progress. The event is scheduled from Tuesday, March 18 to Saturday, March 21, 2025, offering a platform for networking and knowledge exchange among digital experts, policymakers, and industry leaders.
