Ouagadougou: The Zonse Special Delegation held its fourth ordinary session of 2025 on Tuesday, November 18, 2025, in the town hall meeting room. The PDS (Delegation for Social Development) took the opportunity to invite all sons and daughters of the municipality to maintain their commitment to the continuous improvement of the living conditions of the population.
According to Burkina Information Agency, the session was chaired by the prefect, president of the special delegation (PDS), Wendmi Frederic Ouedraogo. The meeting allowed for the examination of several essential points of local governance. The work focused, among other things, on the analysis and adoption of the preliminary draft of the budget for the financial year 2026 and the election of the president of the Environment and Local Development Commission.
In accordance with the texts, the members elected Nikiema Madi, an environmental agent of the municipality, to head this commission. The participants also adopted several resolutions, including one concerning the recruitment of a driver-mechanic to drive the ambulances.
The PDS also announced the holding of the school excellence days scheduled for November 21 and 22 and recalled the next steps of the special delegation's roadmap. Concluding the proceedings, the PDS reiterated its call for a constant commitment from local actors to guarantee the effective implementation of the decisions taken, for the benefit of the people of Zonse.
