Loroum: The President of the Special Delegation of Titao, Sidiki Ganame, inaugurated a significant phase in the High Intensity Labor (HIMO) operation, selecting 168 beneficiaries from a pool of 2500 candidates. This initiative is part of the Community Project for Recovery and Stabilization of the Sahel (PCRSS) and aims to aid communities severely affected by ongoing security and humanitarian challenges.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the process for selecting participants was carried out with an emphasis on transparency and fairness, employing a lottery system to determine the successful candidates. Rasmane Tarpiliga, who oversaw the selection process, explained the procedure, stating, "Here are the boxes which contain 'yes' ballots and 'no' ballots. It's up to you to draw." This random selection method ensured that every applicant had an equal chance of securing a position.

The initiative is designed not only to provide immediate employment but also to foster long-term resilience and recovery in the region. The selected individuals will form brigades responsible for executing sanitation activities within Titao, contributing to the city's upkeep under municipal oversight.

Mr. Tarpiliga expressed satisfaction with the lottery's execution, emphasizing the project's role in supporting the population's resilience and recovery. He acknowledged the collaboration with the City Council to ensure the initiative's success, marking it as the second occurrence of such an activity by the PCRSS in the municipality.
