Koupela: The parish of Saint Albert the Great in Koupela held its parish feast day on Saturday, November 22, 2025, alongside the celebration of three significant silver jubilees. The Mass was presided over by the parish priest, Father Jean Didier Oubda, and gathered Catholic faithful from the Archdiocese of Koupela, administrative and traditional authorities, as well as representatives from other religious denominations.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the event marked the 25 years of priestly ministry of Father Jean Didier Oubda, 25 years of catechetical service of Pierre Belembaogo, and 25 years of marriage of the couple Rigobert Zombre and Laetitia. During the ceremony, Father Oubda prayed for divine assistance in his ministry and expressed gratitude for his life and priesthood.

Rigobert Zombre and his wife Laetitia expressed their thanks for the blessings received throughout their marriage and encouraged young couples to nurture respect and forgiveness. The occasion also featured the celebration of several unions, contributing to the spirit of community and faith.
