Djelgodji: The Secretary General of the province of Djelgodji, Losseni Woni, representing the High Commissioner, urged the population on Monday, during the raising of the colors, to redouble vigilance and report any suspected case to the Defence and Security Forces (FDS).
According to Burkina Information Agency, the traditional ceremony of raising the colors took place in the courtyard of the High Commission of Djelgodji in Djibo. Losseni Woni, who chaired the event, emphasized the importance of citizen vigilance and collaboration with the Security and Defense Forces by reporting any unusual situations or behaviors observed in the community.
Woni encouraged the people to remain vigilant and united, expressing hope for continued progress into 2026. He acknowledged the daily efforts of the Security and Defense Forces and the Volunteers for the Defense of the Homeland in maintaining peace and security in the region. Additionally, Woni extended his wishes for a good month of December to all workers and residents of Djelgodji.
