Fouzi Lekjaa Meets African Ambassadors to Discuss 2025 Africa Cup of Nations Preparations

Rabat: The Mohammed VI Football Complex recently hosted a crucial meeting between Mr. Fouzi Lekjaa, President of the Royal Moroccan Football Federation (FRMF) and President of the Local Organising Committee for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations, and African ambassadors accredited to Rabat.

According to Burkina Information Agency, Mr. Lekjaa presented a comprehensive overview of the progress of preparations for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations. He emphasized Morocco's global vision for the event, guided by the directives of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, which underscore the Kingdom's strong ties to Africa through bilateral and continental collaborations. Mr. Lekjaa articulated that the success of this tournament would represent a collective achievement for the entire continent.

The African ambassadors expressed their satisfaction with the preparation progress, commending the coherence and synergy among the Moroccan institutions involved. They acknowledged that Morocco's approach offers solid guarantees for the successful organization of the tournament.

Mr. Lekjaa announced the formation of a dedicated unit for communication and follow-up between the Local Organizing Committee and African diplomatic missions.
