Ramongo: The basic education district (CEB) of Ramongo has a new head in the person of Paul Marie Zoma, installed in his functions this Friday by the president of the special communal delegation of the said locality, AIB observed.
According to Burkina Information Agency, an official ceremony, presided over by the prefect and president of the special delegation of Ramongo, Mrs. Kouna Yvette Sare, marked the installation of Mr. Paul Marie Zoma as the very first Head of Basic Education District (CCEB) of the locality. Inspector of primary and non-formal education, Mr. Zoma was appointed by decree No. 2025/00173 of October 21, 2025, by the regional director of preschool, primary and non-formal education of Nando. His mission is crucial, as he takes charge in a context where the municipality faces significant challenges in ensuring the full operation of its schools and restoring confidence within the educational community.
The event, held at the prefecture, was characterized by a remarkable turnout. A large delegation, including representatives from neighboring CCEBs, educational supervisors, school principals and teachers, as well as the army corps commander and members of the Ramongo school council, testified to the importance of this facility for the future of education at the local level. The stakeholders present unanimously recognized Mr. Zoma as an experienced, rigorous, and deeply committed administrator. His roadmap is to restore a calm educational climate and allow schools to resume their full activity, in line with the endogenous development objectives championed by the Head of State.
In his address, the new CCEB expressed his gratitude to the educational hierarchy, particularly the Minister, the Regional Director, and the Provincial Director of Education. Mr. Zoma then emphasized the importance of three core values that he intends to establish as the pillars of his work: discipline, order, and hard work. He considers them "essential for building the future" of the children in the municipality. Continuing in a spirit of determination and openness, Mr. Zoma announced the establishment of a participatory approach. He plans a series of meetings with teachers, students, parents, and community stakeholders to identify obstacles and define innovative strategies. "Together, we can transform our obstacles into opportunities for the benefit of our children," he declared, promising unwavering availability and commitment.
His goal is to make the Ramongo CEB a true model of educational excellence in the region. Ramongo is thus opening a new era, marked by collaboration and educational reconstruction.
