Ouagadougou: The National Coordination of Citizen Watch Associations (CNAVC) of Komondjari, under the provincial coordination of Mr. Dianou Sougoulimpo, organized a sanitation day at the Medical Center with surgical unit (CMA) of Gayeri, in the province of Komondjari.
According to Burkina Information Agency, this community cleanup activity mobilized all the citizen monitoring groups in the province, Community Health Workers (CHWs), women, youth, and local authorities in Gayeri. Armed with brooms, shovels, and rakes, participants cleaned the courtyard and surrounding area of the CMA to provide a healthier environment for patients and healthcare staff.
The organizers noted that this initiative is part of the civic actions launched by His Excellency the President of Burkina Faso, Captain Ibrahim Traore, aimed at improving living environments and promoting patriotic engagement among the population.
The provincial coordinator of the CNAVC in Komondjari, Mr. Dianou Sougoulimpo, commended the strong community mobilization and called for the continuation of these cleanup efforts to contribute to public health protection and strengthen social cohesion.
The local authorities present encouraged citizens to maintain this spirit of solidarity and civic responsibility, a guarantee of sustainable development for the municipality of Gayeri.
