Provincial Tax Office Staff Contribute 1 Ton of Cement to Faso Mebo Initiative

Bale: Staff from the provincial tax office donated a ton of cement for the ongoing presidential Faso Mebo initiative in the region. The donation was received by the province's High Commissioner, Martin Bako, on Monday, February 2nd, during the monthly flag-raising ceremony in the presence of constituted bodies.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the provincial director in charge of taxes, Bou Elie Bitie, stated that the purchase of the cement was made possible thanks to a voluntary contribution from the staff. The funds raised allowed them to acquire 20 bags of cement.

This contribution is presented both as a response to the call from the highest authorities for citizen participation in development projects, and as an adherence to the ideals of the progressive popular revolution, he said. The High Commissioner congratulated the donors and invited the services and all constituted bodies to do the same.
