Norbert Zongo University Begins Construction of New 1,000-Seat Amphitheater

Koudougou: As part of the Presidential Initiative for Quality Education for All (IPEQ), construction work on the new 1,000-seat amphitheater at Norbert Zongo University in Koudougou has begun, it was learned Tuesday from this temple of knowledge.

According to Burkina Information Agency, just five days after the official handover of the site, the SEPS International/Phoenix consortium has already mobilized its teams. On site, earthmoving operations and the installation of the construction site fence are already underway.

This large-scale project includes a modern 1,000-seat amphitheater and a three-story educational building. Given the flurry of activity at the construction site in the heart of the campus, the University President has taken steps to anticipate potential risks. She calls upon the entire university community-students, faculty, and staff-to exercise caution and strictly adhere to the safety perimeters and signage posted on the site.

This project marks a key step in strengthening the capacity of UNZ to accommodate the constant growth in student numbers in the city of the Red Rider.
