Ouagadougou: Sports Ambassador Charles Kabor© launched the 'Suudu Andal Sport' program on Tuesday, February 17 in Ouagadougou during a press conference to strengthen the capacities of actors around sport.

According to Burkina Information Agency, this program, the first of its kind, aims to enhance the skills of coaches, managers, referees, sports journalists, and former athletes transitioning to new careers. The program's promoter, former Stallions captain Charles Kabor©, emphasized the need for Burkinabe sport to advance in its structuring and professionalization. He stated, "Burkinabe sport is brimming with talent, but it needs to take a decisive step in its structuring and professionalization."

Kabor© highlighted that modern sport is evolving rapidly, with increasing technical, administrative, and economic requirements. He stressed the collective responsibility to prepare players for current and future standards. High-level training courses will be organized for each entity in its respective field, led by nationally and internationally recognized experts. The first training session is scheduled for March 6 and 7, 2026, focusing on sports marketing for sports federations recognized by the Ministry of Sports, Youth and Employment.

The Minister Secretary General of the Presidency of Faso, Dr. Zakaria Sor©, attended the press conference to support the ambassador's initiatives aimed at creating a new dynamic for the benefit of Burkinabe sport. Ambassador Charles Kabor© explained that the program's ambition is to prioritize Burkina Faso's sporting human capital strategically. This aligns with the vision set forth by the Head of State, Captain Ibrahim Traor©, for a sovereign and competent Burkina Faso focused on excellence.

The one-year program is committed to investing in skills, governance, and training, determined to foster growth in these areas.
