Koudougou: Under the leadership of Paul Yam©ogo, the Coordination of people with disabilities in Koudougou marked the local history of the Faso Mªbo initiative on Friday with a gesture full of dignity and solidarity, a donation of equipment, AIB noted.

According to Burkina Information Agency, far from being relegated to the status of passive beneficiaries, these citizens contributed supplies worth 121,000 CFA francs, consisting of ten bags of rice, a 20-liter container of oil, and pasta. This donation was all the more symbolic as it stemmed from their own hard work, each member having invested in crafts to raise these funds.

"As Burkinabe and sons of Koudougou, who are we to remain on the sidelines of this historical dynamic?" asked coordinator Paul Yam©ogo. For him, this gesture is a direct response to the call from the President of Burkina Faso, Captain Ibrahim Traor©. Comparing their approach to that of bees, he reminded everyone that unity is strength in building the nation and "producing the honey" of shared prosperity.

This mobilization was greeted with emotion by the authorities present: Captain Boubacar Compaor© (Deputy Regional Coordinator of Faso Mªbo) who expressed a deep appreciation for this "exemplary patriotic act." Mr. Am©d©e Par© (PDS of Koudougou) and Moussa Bakouan (Humanitarian Action) took turns congratulating these "goodwill" individuals who embody a responsible and standing Burkina Faso.

By standing alongside the builders at the Faso Mªbo Nando site, the Koudougou coordination team sends a powerful message to those who are still hesitant. For these men and women, disability is not an obstacle to building the nation, but an additional strength placed at the service of the country.
