Oronkua: Educational supervisors, teachers, parents, and students of the Oronkua basic education district (CEB) have officially launched the organization of sport, culture, and leisure activities in primary school (OSCLEP), as observed by AIB.

According to Burkina Information Agency, this edition of OSCLEP is centered around the theme "Sport and culture, factors of peace and resilience," aiming to foster unity, solidarity, and self-improvement among primary school students within the CEB. The Head of the Basic Education District of Oronkua, Nib¨balaon Dabir©, emphasized in his opening speech that these activities provide a significant opportunity for fraternity and cohesion among children.

He highlighted that while the primary school's mission is to educate the mind, it also plays a crucial role in shaping the body through sports and cultural activities. This holistic approach ensures physical and intellectual development, which are inseparable. Dabir© noted that these activities serve as an essential platform for acquiring knowledge across various subjects taught in class.

The head of the CEB urged all stakeholders to commit sincerely to the success of this edition and proceeded to officially launch the CEB's sporting and cultural activities for the 2025-2026 school year. Students will participate in both sports and cultural events during the qualifying rounds, eventually leading to the final competitions.

The launch ceremony featured a gala match between Bankandi A and Bankandi B schools, which concluded in a one-one draw.
