Pyongyang: North Korean President Kim Jong-un expressed strong criticism of the United States' global policies, attributing worldwide chaos to their hegemonic strategies. Speaking at the 9th Congress of the Workers' Party of Korea in Pyongyang, Kim emphasized that the world's current state is vastly different from five years ago, with international relations caught in a whirlwind of chaos and change.

According to Burkina Information Agency, President Kim Jong-un elaborated on how the United States' hegemonic policy and arbitrary actions have destabilized global security, leading to continuous armed confrontations. He highlighted that the international situation is evolving unpredictably, with Western forces, particularly the US, allegedly violating other countries' sovereignty and disregarding international law.

Kim accused these imperialist forces of creating an unprecedented global security crisis since the Cold War, resulting in political and economic disorder worldwide. He criticized the United States for prioritizing its "America First" policy, which he claims undermines the sovereignty and security interests of other nations.

The North Korean leader asserted that the US is willing to impose peace by force to fulfill its hegemonic ambitions, often resorting to armed aggression against sovereign states. He argued that the international community is beginning to realize that as long as imperialism exists, international law is ineffective, and that force is the only respected measure.

In his address, Kim Jong-un reaffirmed North Korea's status as a nuclear state, indicating that it will not abandon its nuclear arsenal unless there is a fundamental change in the global landscape. He concluded by emphasizing that possessing nuclear weapons is crucial to countering imperialist ambitions.
