Burkina Faso Launches “Burkina Faso on the Move” Platform to Chronicle Popular Progressive Revolution

Ouagadougou: The Burkinabe government launched the 'Burkina en marche' platform to digitally record the epic of the Popular Progressive Revolution (RPP) for the benefit of Burkinabe people and the whole world.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the platform, accessible at https://burkina-en-marche.gov.bf, offers information in several languages, including Moor©, Dioula, French, English, and Mandarin. Developed through a collaboration between the Ministry of Digital Transition and the Ministry of Communication, it aims to preserve the narrative of Burkina Faso's revolutionary journey.

"The Burkina en Marche platform is an assertive and deliberate act of narrative sovereignty in the age of artificial intelligence," stated the Minister of Communication, Pingdwend© Gilbert Ou©draogo, emphasizing its technical and editorial strengths. He encouraged departments to contribute to the platform by documenting the People's Progressive Revolution to inspire individuals globally.

The platform is described as a strategic governmental tool by the Minister of Digital Transition, Dr. Aminata Zerbo/Saban©. It aims to counter misinformation about Burkina Faso, serve as a documentary database, and aid artificial intelligence in better indexing content related to the nation.

Ultimately, the initiative seeks to ensure that the history of Burkina Faso is authored by its people and shared with both national and international audiences.
