Governor of Nando Region Assesses Faso Yaar Initiative in Koudougou

Koudougou: The governor of the Nando region is immersing himself in the realities of "Faso Yaar" The governor of the Nando region, Adama Jean Yves Bere, surrounded by the constituted bodies of his district, made a field visit to the site of the 'Faso Yaar' of Koudougou to get a feel for the realities.

According to Burkina Information Agency, this visit aimed to assess the effectiveness of this operation to sell consumer goods at social prices in the Boulkiemde province. Located a stone's throw from the civil registry office of the Koudougou town hall, the "Faso Yaar" site received a visit today from the top regional authorities.

The governor, accompanied by the regional secretary general, the high commissioners, the prefects, and the regional director in charge of Commerce, went to observe the smooth progress of this government initiative.

On site, the regional authority reviewed the organizational structure put in place to facilitate the supply of goods to the population. The governor expressed particular satisfaction with the rigor and professionalism of the personnel deployed on site, noting the smooth customer service.

'We came to encourage the teams and ensure that the public has access to the products under the best possible conditions,' the official stated after his visit. He also urged the site managers to maintain this high standard in order to sustainably meet the needs of citizens, for whom these shops represent a significant relief in the face of the rising cost of living.

For the region's top official, the success of this operation is imperative, as it constitutes a major lever of the government's social policy in favor of the most vulnerable households.
