Tenkodogo: The Head of Mission for the Bankui and Sourou regions at the Presidency of Faso, Soumala Pare, visited some market gardens on the afternoon of Saturday, February 28, 2026, to observe the realities of the production of these crops in the province.
According to Burkina Information Agency, Soumala Pare came to present presidential initiatives to the population and was accompanied by his two focal points for development and security, as well as the provincial coordinator of citizen monitoring. They visited fields of onions and wheat near the town of Solenzo.
During the visit, Pare emphasized the importance of getting a firsthand look at the realities faced by the population and reporting on the conditions in the province. The visit highlighted major difficulties encountered by the producers, particularly the lack of water due to the absence of water retention points or dams.
The mission officer reassured the people that the concerns raised would be resolved in the province for the well-being of the people.
