Banwa Provincial Secretary General Urges Population Towards Social Cohesion

Solenzo: The Secretary General of the Banwa Province, Abdoul Kader KongZabre, urged the population on Monday, March 2, 2026, during the traditional raising of the colors, to banish grudges, disputes and especially emotions that divide and undermine living together.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the rotating flag-raising ceremony, held on the first Monday of March, took place at the provincial directorate of family and solidarity. The event was attended by administrative, traditional, and religious authorities, security forces, and the civilian population.

At the conclusion of the ceremony, Abdoul Kader KongZabre, representing the High Commissioner, called upon the entire population to remain steadfast and united, and to build a Burkina Faso of tomorrow through discipline. He expressed his gratitude to all the Defense and Security Forces and the VDP (Volunteers for the Defense of the Homeland) for their sacrifice in the field.

During the flag-raising ceremony, villages donated 5 tons of cement, 2 wheelbarrows, and 5 shovels to Faso Mebo.
