The CEB of Sapouy Refines Its Teaching Strategies to Improve CEP Results

Tenkodogo: The Basic Education District (CEB) of Sapouy held a meeting on Friday, February 27, 2026, with a pedagogical and administrative focus, dedicated to analyzing the results of the first mock exam and defining strategies to improve the academic performance of students taking the Primary School Certificate (CEP).According to Burkina Information Agency, the meeting, chaired by the head of the Basic Education District (CCEB) of Sapouy, Camille Diasso, brought together educational supervisors, school directors, some heads of CEB offices as well as teachers in charge of the CM2 classes.The work made it possible to examine in depth the results recorded during the first mock exam in order to assess the level of the learners and to identify the shortcomings observed in certain fundamental disciplines.During the discussions, the teachers outlined several difficulties encountered in the field, including basic deficiencies among some students, overcrowded classrooms, and constraints related to the education al monitoring of candidates.According to CCEB Camille Diasso, this session provides a framework for evaluation and guidance to better prepare students for end-of-year exams."The results of the first mock exam allow us to identify weaknesses in order to adopt appropriate strategies to significantly improve CEP results. Every actor in the education system must play their full part to effectively support students towards success," he stressed.Following this work, several measures were adopted, including strengthening educational remediation activities, intensifying close supervision and implementing regular monitoring of teachers, especially those in exam classes.It was therefore on a note of satisfaction and collective commitment from educational stakeholders, determined to work towards better academic results in the Sapouy Basic Education District, that this working session came to an end.
