Ouagadougou: The president of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Burkina Faso (CCI-BF), Achille Roland Sow, indicated on Wednesday that the issue of housing is a matter of dignity and that, consequently, his institution, in collaboration with CEGECI, intends to work in synergy in order to offer quality housing to Burkinabe citizens.
According to Burkina Information Agency, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Burkina Faso (CCI-BF) met on Wednesday with the Center for the Management of Cities (CEGECI) to discuss the housing issue for Burkinabe people, in order to enable them to have decent and quality housing. Achille Roland Sow highlighted that when two major institutions like CEGCI and the Chamber of Commerce meet, there are bound to be opportunities, and their discussions focused on finding economic models that can enable CEGCI to boost its development.
The president of the CCI-BF spoke on Wednesday at the CEGCI (General Council for Real Estate Development) offices, following his meeting with the national head of housing development. Achille Roland Sow also stated that CEGCI is a socially responsible company deeply rooted in real estate development and housing support in Burkina Faso.
The Director General of CEGCI, Gon Tali Martine Ky, was pleased with the visit from the CCI-BF, believing that this approach will help find solutions to the housing problems of Burkinabe people. Ms. Gon noted that the CEGCI truly needs this collaboration to fulfill its mission. "The CCI-BF serves as a bridge between the public and private sectors, working together for the well-being of the Burkinabe people," she stated.
Established in 1987, the CEGCI's primary mission is to provide decent, affordable, and sustainable housing for the people of Burkina Faso.
