Houet: As part of its awareness-raising tour on the ideals of the Popular Progressive Revolution (RPP), the National Coordination of Citizen Watch Associations (CNAVC), Houet section, organized a flag-raising ceremony at the Gamaliel private primary school on March 3, 2026. During the ceremony, a lesson on the good values to adopt in order to be responsible citizens of tomorrow was given to the learners.

According to Burkina Information Agency, gathered around the national flag, the young schoolchildren were made aware of the ideals of the Popular Progressive Revolution as well as Captain Ibrahim Traore's vision for education and youth, the foundation of all development. The main speaker at the ceremony, Omar Traore, the representative to the President of Burkina Faso for the Guiriko region, emphasized concepts such as patriotism and civic engagement. He highlighted that patriotic education for children must begin at a young age in order to cultivate responsible and committed leaders dedicated to the well-being of the nation.

"The choice of these little ones is not accidental. We want them to know that we are in a revolution and that they must be revolutionaries. A revolutionary is a child who does not cheat, does not play truant, does not come late to school, but who loves his country, respects teachers, adults and institutions," he said to the students.

The awareness session wasn't limited to schoolchildren alone. The RPP's message was also shared with teachers and parents present for the occasion. All welcomed the initiative, believing it would effectively contribute to the civic and patriotic education of the children. "We will continue in this direction, focusing on the patriotic and civic education of children. We thank the CNAVC Houet for this awareness campaign," stated Seifora Zorome, the headmistress of the Gamaliel private primary school.

For the CNAVC Houet, these awareness-raising actions will continue throughout the province so that the ideals of the Popular Progressive Revolution are understood and embraced by all Burkinab¨ students, with a view to contributing to the socio-economic development of the country.
