Koupela: Musician Pacha praised the remarkable work of the Defense and Security Forces (FDS) and the Volunteers for the Defense of the Homeland (VDP) of the Sourou province during the dedication of his first album entitled "Resilience". The artist-musician Pacha, whose real name is Cheick Assimi Pare, presented his first album to the public, consisting of five tracks, accompanied by two remixes, in the presence of several cultural figures and many fans from Tougan and other localities.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the FDS and the VDP are doing remarkable work in the province, allowing the population to keep hope despite the security context. 'The people of Sourou are very resilient. Despite everything the province has experienced and continues to experience, the people remain determined to make Sourou the best province. All this is possible thanks to the courage, determination and bravery of our FDS and VDP, who are doing an enormous amount of work,' he said.

For the artist, music is a powerful means of expression and raising awareness. Through this album, he intends to contribute to educating the public so that everyone can support, in their own way, the efforts of the fighting forces for the lasting return of peace. In this work, Pacha also highlights the cultural and touristic riches of the Sourou province as well as the hospitality of its inhabitants.

The artist also congratulated the Patriotic Movement for Safeguarding and Restoration (MPSR 2), led by the President of Faso, Captain Ibrahim Traore, through a title entitled "IB Kouma", which means in the Dioula language "IB speaks". According to the artist's manager, Souleymane Drabo, the choice of Tougan for the dedication reflects the recognition of the artist and his team towards the people of Sourou for their support in the making of this first album.

Mr. Drabo also announced that another dedication ceremony will be organized soon in Ouagadougou, in order to allow the artist to become better known to the public. Present at this dedication ceremony, the provincial director in charge of Culture of Sourou, Remi Bagre, congratulated the artist for his initiative and expressed his full availability to support him in the promotion of culture in the province of Sourou and in Burkina Faso in general.

Note that during the ceremony, the first USB key containing the album was purchased for 100,000 CFA francs by a fan.
