Bourasso: The Head of the Bourasso Basic Education District (CCEB), Maliki Sidibe, led the monthly flag-raising ceremony at the Sikoro Public Primary School. During the event, Sidibe commended the dedication of the armed forces in safeguarding the national territory.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the ceremony, which started at 7:15 a.m., featured the national anthem sung in Dioula and included awareness messages. Honorine Koalga emphasized the importance of good hygiene practices, urging students to use bins both at school and home to maintain a healthy environment.

Student Daouda Konate from CM2 class highlighted the significance of keeping the surroundings clean. Maliki Sidibe also acknowledged the teachers' efforts and expressed gratitude to the Volunteers for the Defence of the Homeland (VDP) and the Defence and Security Forces (FDS) for their commitment to national security.
