Ouagadougou: The Minister of Foreign Affairs, HE Karamoko Jean Marie TRAORE, along with Minister Delegate Ms. Bªbgnasgnan Stelle Eldine KABRE/KABORE, received the Ambassador of the Republic of Turkey, HE Ms. Feriba Hokkaci ESIRGEN, for a meeting to discuss bilateral cooperation between Burkina Faso and Turkey.
According to Burkina Information Agency, the meeting marked ten months since Ambassador ESIRGEN assumed her post in Burkina Faso. The Turkish diplomat's courtesy visit was focused on reviewing the progress made in cooperation areas such as parliamentary diplomacy, security, air transport, education, and health. These achievements have been facilitated by the exchange of delegations between the two nations.
The discussions also addressed upcoming initiatives including a diplomatic forum in Antalya, an economic forum for Turkish and Burkinabe businessmen, and a forthcoming medical mission. His Excellency Karamoko Jean Marie TRAORE expressed satisfaction with the evolving relations between the two countries, noting positive developments in various cooperation sectors.
He emphasized the importance of continued delegation exchanges to sustain and enhance the cooperative momentum between Burkina Faso and Turkey.
