Bale: The prayer marking the end of Ramadan was held on Friday, March 20, 2026, at the Zonou Issa Stadium in Fara. A delegation of local authorities, led by the President of the Special Delegation, Aloys Ouango, attended the prayer.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the President of the Special Delegation (PDS) called on communities to observe unity, religious tolerance, and social cohesion during the Eid al-Fitr celebration. Approximately 1,500 worshippers gathered to observe the traditional Eid prayer, with the arrival of the Grand Imam of Fara marking the official start of the ceremony.

Through this prayer, participants expressed gratitude to God Almighty for His mercy during Ramadan and implored for a return to security in Burkina Faso. Prayers were offered for the security forces, volunteers, and the nation's highest authorities. The Grand Imam delivered sermons focused on strengthening the Muslim faith and emphasized peace, forgiveness, and love.

The head of the municipality thanked the Muslim community for its involvement in community life and, on behalf of the High Commissioner of the Bale province, urged the assembly to work towards peace, social cohesion, tolerance, sharing, and brotherly love. The PDS concluded by encouraging religious tolerance as a means of ensuring peaceful coexistence and wished everyone a happy Eid al-Fitr.
