Pissila: The sons and daughters of the commune of Pissila established, on Sunday, March 22, 2026, the communal office of the framework of resource persons of Pissila, an initiative intended to unite local energies around the promotion of peace and development of the locality. The ceremony to set up the office took place in the presence of administrative, customary and community leaders, as well as many residents of the commune who came to show their support for this dynamic of citizen mobilization.

According to Burkina Information Agency, MP Moussa Sawadogo, one of the initiators of the project, noted that this framework constitutes a space for consultation and joint actions aimed at strengthening social cohesion and encouraging the involvement of populations in endogenous development initiatives. He indicated that the creation of this framework responds to the need to bring people from speeches to concrete actions in order to support the development efforts of the municipality. For the success of this initiative, the Honorable Sawadogo invited the people to cultivate unity and work together to build their locality.

For his part, Isma«l Sawadogo, the provincial coordinator of the Sandbondtenga resource person framework, stressed that the development of the commune must be based first and foremost on the commitment of its own daughters and sons. According to him, no one will develop Pissila in place of its inhabitants, hence the need to pool local efforts, skills, and resources.

For the new council, the main objective is to establish an inclusive platform capable of bringing together all segments of the community to promote peace, solidarity, and socio-economic progress. To this end, several areas of intervention have been identified, including the promotion of social cohesion, citizen mobilization, support for agricultural initiatives to strengthen food self-sufficiency, as well as sanitation and reforestation actions to improve the living conditions of the population.

The president of the new office, Jean Eric Sawadogo, indicated that his team also intends to carry out awareness-raising activities to strengthen the spirit of solidarity and collective responsibility within the communities of the commune. He also called on all the people of Pissila to support the actions of the office and to actively participate in the initiatives that will be undertaken for the development of the locality. With the creation of this framework, which will continue in the villages of Pissila, the promoters hope to create a sustainable dynamic of community mobilization in the service of peace, unity, and the development of the commune.
