Ouagadougou: A woman was killed in a traffic accident on Saturday, March 28, 2026, in Gourcy, AIB has observed.

According to Burkina Information Agency, testimonies gathered at the scene revealed that the victim, hailing from a nearby village, was being towed on a motorcycle. Their vehicle collided with a tricycle at an intersection on National Road No. 2.

Further testimonies indicated that the impact of the collision threw the victim into the middle of the road, where she was subsequently crushed by another passing vehicle. The motorcyclist, however, managed to escape unharmed.

After the police completed their report on the incident, local residents gathered to bury the victim. Some reports suggest that she was part of the funeral procession of a local healer.
