Port of Tema: Minister of State Emile Zerbo at the Forefront of Burkinabe Transit

Port of tema: During a working visit to Ghana, the Minister of State, Mr. Emile Zerbo, stopped at the transit terminal of the Port of Tema. This immersion in the heart of a major logistics hub was punctuated by warm exchanges with the Burkinab¨ diaspora.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the Minister of State, Minister of Territorial Administration and Mobility, Mr. Emile Zerbo, accompanied by the Ambassador of Burkina Faso to Ghana, H.E. David Kabre, and a large delegation, made a visit on April 1, 2026, to the transit terminal of the Port of Tema, an infrastructure dedicated, in particular, to the countries of the Confederation of Sahel States (AES).

On site, the Minister of State, Mr. Emile Zerbo, was able to closely observe the facilities of the transit terminal and gain a better understanding of the operational realities that govern the port corridor.

But beyond the technical aspects, the visit was marked by a particularly moving human connection. Burkinab¨ citizens present, upon seeing the national flag flying from the Ambassador's vehicle, expressed their enthusiasm with enthusiastic honking. This spontaneous gesture deeply touched the Minister of State and his delegation. They stopped to greet them warmly. A vibrant scene, a symbol of attachment to the motherland and renewed confidence in the country's authorities.
