Nahouri: Approximately thirty journalists and broadcasters from the Nahouri province received training on disinformation and fact-checking this Thursday, April 2, 2026, in P´. The training was organized by Fasocheck.
According to Burkina Information Agency, this training session was initiated by Faso-Check amidst a backdrop of increasing misinformation. The session, which took place on Thursday, March 2, 2026, aimed to enhance the ability of journalists and broadcasters in Nahouri to verify information accurately.
The training introduced participants to various digital tools for verifying images and checking sources, significantly boosting their skills in ensuring the authenticity of information. Isidor W. Bouda, President of Faso-Check, praised the journalists of P´ for their enthusiastic participation, which he believes signifies the media's dedication to responsible journalism.
Participants expressed a sense of fulfillment at the training. For journalists, who frequently encounter rampant rumors, this session was timely and essential for their work in responsibly gathering and processing information.
