Seguenega: The vice-president of the municipality calls for a surge in support of local consumption. The vice-president of the special delegation of the commune of Seguenega urged the population on Friday, April 3, at the CEG of Tiba, to promote and consume local products on the occasion of the National Days of Patriotic Commitment and Citizen Participation (JEPPC).
According to Burkina Information Agency, the ceremony for the first phase of the 3rd edition of the JEPPC (Journees d'Education et de Promotion du Patrimoine) was held at the CEG (Coll¨ge d'Enseignement General) in Seguenega, Tiba. During the event, the headmaster of the CEG, Alassane Ouedraogo, read the message from the Head of State following the flag-raising ceremony.
Yacouba Guiro, representing the PDS, called on citizens to support the authorities and prioritize local products. "Let's produce what we consume, process what we produce, and consume what we process," he argued. He emphasized that the JEPPC aims to encourage a change of mentality in favor of national products and support for local producers, contributing to strengthening the country's economic sovereignty.
