Ouagadougou: The youth of Soum express their patriotism through a donation of national flags The Soum Youth Patriots Collective presented national flags to the High Commission in Djibo on Wednesday in an atmosphere imbued with patriotism. Under the morning sun, the institution's esplanade served as the setting for this symbolic event.
According to Burkina Information Agency, with flags in hand and determined faces, the members of the collective, led by their leader Nouh Tamboura, came to express their attachment to the Nation with a strong gesture, full of meaning in the current context.
Welcomed by the president of the special delegation of the commune of Nassoumbou, Vincent G. Dayamba, representing the High Commissioner, the delegation officially handed over the national emblems, in an atmosphere marked by messages of commitment and support to the authorities.
Speaking at the event, Mr. Dayamba praised the initiative as "highly civic-minded," stressing that these symbols of sovereignty help to revive patriotic sentiment and strengthen unity and social cohesion.
For the head of the collective, Nouh Tamboura, this gesture reflects the pride of the youth of Soum for the national colours, as well as their attachment to the dynamics of the progressive revolution and to the vision of the President of Faso, Captain Ibrahim Traor©.
Among the mobilized youth, the commitment is unequivocal: to support the authorities in the drive to retake the territory and stabilize the country. In Djibo, this flag presentation was therefore much more than a simple gift; it was an act of patriotic faith carried out by a resolutely committed youth.
