Harare: L¶h Abdoul Aziz Napo takes the reins of the provincial directorate of Sports, Youth and Employment. The new provincial director of Sports, Youth and Employment of Banwa, L¶h Abdoul Aziz Napo, officially took office this Tuesday, April 7, 2026, in the meeting room of the Solenzo town hall, in the presence of the constituted bodies.

According to Burkina Information Agency, Mr. Napo was appointed in the Council of Ministers on March 19, 2026, and was installed in his functions by the Secretary General of the Banwa Province, Abdoul Kader KongZabr©, representing the High Commissioner. Speaking at the event, the new provincial director expressed mixed feelings of joy and concern, acknowledging the challenges that come with the merger of two ministries. "I am counting on your support and guidance to successfully complete the mission entrusted to me," said L¶h Abdoul Aziz Napo.

The ceremony also included a handover of duties, with Mr. Napo taking over the position previously held by Abdoulaye Zongo in the area of sport. He sought the support of his superiors, colleagues, partners, and the resilient population of Banwa to help him in his new role.

The Secretary General of the Banwa Province, Abdoul Kader KongZabr©, congratulated Mr. Napo and urged him to focus on achieving the objectives in the areas of sport, youth, and employment. Before his current appointment, Mr. Napo headed the provincial directorate of Youth and Employment in Banwa and Bal©.
