Ouagadougou: The NGO RES-PUBLICA delivered a large quantity of food to the Basic Education District (CEB) of Soaw, with an estimated value of over 28 million CFA francs, to help feed school canteens.
According to Burkina Information Agency, this donation, which mainly consists of about 50 tons of rice and 320 cans of oil, was officially handed over by the President of the special delegation (PDS) of the commune of Soaw, Fousseni Sourabie. The ceremony took place in the presence of school directors and several parents of students.
During the official handover, PDS Sourabie acknowledged the initiative and encouraged beneficiaries to make good use of the supplies to continue earning the trust of the NGO. The head of the CEB, Rossaire Bama, expressed gratitude to the NGO, noting that the contribution will help ease the burden on beneficiaries and strengthen learning activities.
Through this donation, the NGO RES-PUBLICA, represented by Mr. Abou Dramane Seni at the ceremony, reaffirms its commitment to supporting the State in providing schools with food, aiming to make education a lever for development.
