The Village of Zatene Inaugurates Its Citizen Watch Roundabout

Tenado: The prefect, president of the special delegation (PDS) of Tenado, Asm¨de Dianda, presided on Sunday, April 12, in Baguiomo, over the inauguration of the citizen watch roundabout of the village of Zatene, AIB observed. The village of Zatene, located in the commune of Tenado, now has a space dedicated to community policing. The inauguration of this roundabout brought together administrative and traditional authorities, as well as guests from Koudougou.

According to Burkina Information Agency, for the Prefect and PDS of Tenado, Asm¨de Dianda, this achievement is the result of exemplary community engagement. He therefore commended the initiative of the local youth while urging them to maintain this momentum with "discipline, unity, and respect for republican values."

The first vice-president of the Centre-West regional special delegation, Ms. Rosalie Ouedraogo/Nikiema, echoed the PDS's sentiments, expressing her satisfaction with the mobilization of the sons and daughters of Baguiomo. According to her, this youth must remain a pillar in supporting social transformations and development at the national level.

Present at the ceremony, Pema Florent Neya, the Special Envoy of the Presidency of Burkina Faso to the region, delivered a message of resolve and unity. He urged the people to remain "firmly mobilized behind Captain Ibrahim Traore" in defense of the ideals of sovereignty and patriotism.

On behalf of the sponsors, the regional director of Water and Forests, Louis Nebie, praised the determination of the initiators of the project, seeing it as a guarantee of solidarity for the future of the municipality.

The inauguration of this roundabout of citizen vigilance marks, according to the organizers, the adherence of the people to the ideals of the popular progressive revolution for the construction of a sovereign nation.

Alongside the ceremony, a special operation enabled the enrollment of more than 100 people to obtain the Burkinabe National Identity Card (CNIB), thus bringing the administration closer to the citizens of Baguiomo.
