Prime Minister Urges Forces in Yaadga Region to Stay Vigilant

Ouahigouya: On a working visit to the Yaadga region, Prime Minister Rimtalba Jean Emmanuel Ouedraogo, accompanied by several members of his government, met with the defense and security forces engaged in operations to retake the territory. During his visit, the Prime Minister conveyed the encouragement of the President of Burkina Faso and the government's congratulations for their efforts on the ground.

According to Burkina Information Agency, at the camp of the 12th Commando Infantry Regiment, part of the Northern Sector Forces Group, the Prime Minister and his delegation visited the military medical center as well as the operations center. At the military medical center, the Head of Government inquired about the health of the wounded and the conditions of their medical and psychological care, offering a message of support and commending their courage, commitment, and spirit of sacrifice in service to the nation.

The Prime Minister also addressed the troops mobilized for the reconquest of the territory, conveying the Government's congratulations and commending their bravery, professionalism, and determination in carrying out their mission. He highlighted the efforts of the forces in reconquering and consolidating many lost areas, thus allowing resettlement and hope to return to the populations affected.

Faced with security threats and destabilization maneuvers based on disinformation and psychological warfare, the Prime Minister urged the fighting forces to maintain a high level of vigilance on all positions. He emphasized the importance of remaining mobilized at all times and strengthening cohesion and solidarity among the various components involved in the defense of the nation. The Government's commitment to improving the living and combat conditions of the forces deployed in various theaters of operation was also reaffirmed.

This visit is part of the dynamic of proximity, recognition, and moral support desired by the President of Faso for the benefit of the forces engaged in the defense of the national territory.
